"Doctor Who: The Ten Doctors", September, 2008. Digital drawing in Photoshop. Full view. Inspired loosely by a childhood drawing, "The Seven Doctors", I included all ten TV doctors (thus far) and the same elements of my childhood picture; a vortex and the TARDIS (Note: I'm amused by the fact that the other one was drawn in '87 or '88 -- 20ish years ago now). Full disclosure -- quote is from the episode "The Family of Blood." I'm guessing most Whovians knew that, but I thought I should mention. A very appropriate quote, IMO. The likenesses are not exact, I know. I was going for the feel of each Doctor, in my own comic book line work stylings. (Psst. Hey. If you like this Doctor Who pic of mine, you should really check out the newer, and cooler stuff -- it can all be found here - [link] .) It goes without saying (hence why I don't always say it) but Doctor Who is © 2008 the BBC. I mean, seriously -- does anyone think that if I draw the Doctor, I own the Doctor? Geez. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 23h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices.
