"Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars", July, 2009. Digital drawing in Photoshop.
Full view.
Note: Heard in buzzings around the intertubes that this is apparently a cover for a Waters of Mars adaptation comic. IT IS NOT. This is nothing more than a piece of practice art from me. IDW, the stateside publisher of Doctor Who comic books doesn't adapt episodes, and has no plans to adapt WoM, and Doctor Who Magazine in the UK doesn't do adaptations either (they have plenty of original material). Okay? Okay.
Need to keep in practice, so here's a Tenth Doctor piece in anticipation of the upcoming (November) Doctor Who special, "The Waters of Mars."
Based on imagery from the trailer, and other leaked and pre-release images.
Freak'n awesome! So what do you think about the guy that is going to play the 11th Dr? I have missed sooo many episodeds! and I have missed a lot of Toorchwood too!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
