The Rules:
1. Post these rules.
2. Each person must post 8 random (hopefully interesting) facts about themselves.
3. Tags should write a journal of these facts.
4. At the end of this post, 9 more deviants are tagged and named.
5. Go to their page and leave a comment telling them they're tagged.
1. ~RCarter had a good opening one, so I'll steal it. I too, am an only child. My parents were going to name me Blair if I was a girl... dammit.
2. When I was young, having no siblings to play with, and rarely any friends visiting during the school year, I would play with my action figures in such an over-thought way, that I'd have long plot threads, and actual character development. Also, if a character died during my play, I'd put away the figure and almost never use it again, unless it was generic, or a villain or hero was making a surprise return. I'd often confuse the friends that'd visit by insisting they play along with my established continuity, and stop them from playing with any "dead" character figure.
3. I was an extra in Spider-man 1. During the wrestling scene.
4. I was paid to do storyboards on a short film, but things were really weird with the project, and I never was told what to draw. I got paid anyway.
5. I met my wife at Dartmouth, where she was a student. I was not a student, having a smaller brain than most Ivy-Leaguers. I hung out at the co-ed fraternity where she was a "brother". I've been visiting that frat about ten years now. I was never made into a brother, but it is possible for townies like me. No one ever offered, and I never asked. *shrug*. It's a great place for hanging out, playing video games, watching movies, playing pool, naked twister, and drinking to excess when needed.
6. In 1993, I returned to the Philippines for the first time since I was a little over one year old. I felt like the tallest person in the country, though my father had an inch on me. I brought back many souvenirs, including much volcanic rock from the somewhat recently erupted Mount Pinatubo, and a bug bite that go so infected, that I have scar from it to this day.
7. I used to work at Staples, and Charles Bronson and his wife would often come in. He was a little dude, and I once made him laugh with a lame joke. He was milling in front of a display, and I asked him if I could help him find anything. "More money," he replied. "Second isle, right hand side," I stated, and went back to my register.
8. Also at Staples, I often assisted Bob Keeshan. He bought lots of supplies for a book he was supposedly writing at the time. If you don't recognize the name, he was the late Captain Kangaroo.
I'm really too beat to seek out all those I tag to answer this, so I'm just going to post their avatars, and if they read this, they can do this... or not. What do I care?
Now y'all get offa my lawn!
