Well, I'll update then.

Things are a-brewin' here, but not too much I can say about official goings-on. So I'll mention a few currently unofficial things;

- Working on an image of an original character. I'll post that when it's done. It's unrelated to Wayward Son and all that, but is a story I'm writing, and hopefully drawing (hmmm?). It's not fanfic, but does belong to a character's universe that I do not own (hmmm?). Past that, I'll say nothing more until I post the image (and the minor background I give there), and if this becomes official. Best case scenario -- not until next year.

- Finishing up commissions. Might offer a few more, but come October and the big project I'll be booked until end of November/early December and won't be able to take on any more commissions of any sort. Get your shots in soon.

- On a more personal level, economy as bad as it is, things are going to take a gradual upturn for me and my family near the end of the year here. My wife is gainfully (and happily for once) employed, and I of course will be tackling the big project soon. These things mean happy Christmas for our kids, who have not gone without in the past, but have gone with little (aka, as much as we could afford). Seriously, if you talk to me in person about this, I crack up right about now talking about my kids having a really good Christmas this year. It's a happy thing.

One last thing - my time is limited, but if anyone would like me to brutally critique any of their work (preferably illustrations -- I'm no good at seriously critiquing pottery, sculpture, photography, etc), comment me, note me, whatever. Just get me the link, and I'll be honest without undo snark.
